On the band here on the world's smallest bandstand, Heinz Lichius drums, Gabriel Coburger tenor saxophone, Joe Berger guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond organ - the theme song for my long-running cable TV show "Late Rent" on MNN TV - everybody have a beautiful weekend and stay safe, keep masking up in public during this pandemic folks! There is the "Villon" - wine bar, cabaret, artists' meeting place, where many have been discovered who are really big today. There is actually no label for this "space for 50 individualists", as a newspaper once headlined. Today this special location turns 25 years old. A reason to celebrate - and to look back."

Hammond Report August 7 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about gig we played in Harburg, Hamburg in the Stellwerk Hamburg - located in Bahnhof S-Bahn station. We got there early before Heiko opened up the club, waiting around with all the people passing by one guy wanted an autograph - he didn't know who we were, and he didn't even come to our gig but I hope maybe it hangs on his wall there in Harburg! Sending out my most powerful wishes to good friend Michael Falkenstein for speedy recovery of his knee!! Never a dull moment folks. Hammond Report August 5 2020 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about some slim times living over in Frankfurt, Germany in the Nordend, on the Rothschildallee there was a Wienerwald and I used to hit it after a good gig - on the band here Giovanni Totò Gulino drums Tony Lakatos tenor, Joe Berger guitar - I know Tony a long time, so he remembered when I was skinny starving musician and when I put on some weight he looked to my stomach and said "Looking good Hammond" - for musician is good when eating! Then we met in Las Vegas, cruising around in his cabriolet - to the Luxor Hotel to visit the Hungarian musicians - Zoli with the big arms, I asked Tony, does he work out? He said "Wienerschnitzel"! - I hope everybody is OK out there, have a beautiful day and keep your mask on in public folks! Come back tomorrow for my daily Hammond Report - Jon Hammond
