Hammond Report December 5 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino
- Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about playing my tune "Head Phone" in
at 97th and Columbus in NYC August of 1989. I broke out my 1959 Hammond B3 organ for the 5 night gig. We played a lot of my original compositions for the first time at Mikell's - on the band Barry Finnerty guitar, Bernard Purdie drums,
congas & percussion, Alex Foster tenor and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond B3 organ.
Thanks
for shooting my Panasonic PV-430D camera and
for the gig!
Be safe out there everybody, keep masking up in the pandemic! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report,
Jon Hammond
