Hammond Report November 6 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about playing playing uptown gig at good old Mikell's on my 1959 Hammond B3 organ, and current events - Joe Berger shot my Panasonic PV-430d camera with digital gain boost, early solution to low light captures the atmosphere of the legendary night spot at 97th & Columbus Avenue NYC founded by Pat Mikell and Mike Mikell - on the band, Chuggy Carter congas and percussion, Bernard Purdie drums, Barry Finnerty playing his 1959 Les Paul when he still had it, and yours truly Jon Hammond at my '59 Hammond B3 organ, 1959 was a good year!
