Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story in Taipei playing a nice jazz session at
Jazz Spot Swing
club with Kenichi Toyoda at the piano, Yasuhiro Futaoka drums and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Sk2 Hammond organ. I visited my friends
Alex
and
Pmauriat Albest
Saxophones and Super Nico at
Superlux
Microphones & Headphones - I was checking up on my friend Kevin Mauder, tenor saxophonist who played on my band for a long time in Germany. He moved to Taipei after Alex discovered him on my band and invited him. I got him on the phone, but did not get the eyeball on him. I hope everybody's OK over in Taipei and all over - stay safe and keep masking up in public folks! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report,
Jon Hammond
