When Keystone closed in 1983, it was one of the last San Francisco clubs to regularly book national and international touring jazz groups. Barkan is now the artistic director of Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, the jazz club operated by Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York, and he's also a highly regarded producer who works with numerous domestic and European jazz labels.

Jon Hammond attended Berklee College of Music and played venues as diverse as Boston's "Combat Zone" in the striptease clubs during the '70's and the exclusive Wychmere Harbor Club in Cape Cod, where he was house organist and developed a lasting friendship with House Speaker Tip O'Niel. He also toured the Northeast and Canada with the successful show revue "Easy Living", and continued his appearances at nightclubs in Boston and New York. Subsequently Hammond lived and traveled in Europe, where he has an enthusiastic following.

Örjan Fahlström is the new Musical Director of the HR Big Band in Frankfurt Germany. Originally from Umea Sweden, he was Professor for Composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and is well known for his work with European-based jazz-soloists such as Benny Bailey, Bobo Stenson, Tim Hagans or Palle Mikkelborg. Fahlström was the artistic director of the Norrbotten Big Band from 1989 till 1996 and is a regular guest conductor with a number of renowned big bands, including the NDR-Big Band and Estonian Dream Big Band Tallinn. Jon HammondMusician, television personality and radio broadcaster Jon Hammond boarded a Concorde in 1981 to travel from New York to Paris at supersonic speed, and he never slowed down.Jon travels the world, touring in Europe and Asia two or three times each year while broadcasting his “HammondCast” morning radio show seven days a week.
